Jamoon is a very attractive villa located at Sandy Lane. With a very inviting pool this is the perfect private villa for a large family gathering.
Jamoon is a charming and private two-story villa with landscaped gardens on the established Sandy Lane Estate on the West Coast. It is conveniently located, a short distance from Holetown, pristine beaches and a wide range of dining options.
From the main double doors, guests already feel welcome in the cool reception area with a fishtail palm tree as the centrepiece. On the left are a powder room and a pantry - complete with wine cooler, mini fridge, storage for snacks and ice maker. Just ahead is the open-plan living room - with dramatic, high ceilings accentuated by a skylight and a view of the large pool. This space, designed with entertaining in mind, has plenty of comfortable seating areas, a grand, antique dining table accommodating up to 20 and even a baby grand piano. More comfortable seating and lounge chairs are found on the terrace with tranquil garden views as well as the pool deck. Guests can even watch cable TV out on the patio.
Immediately outside the well-equipped, Scandinavian-designed kitchen is casual outdoor dining set up on the wide, covered terrace – usually the spot for a leisurely breakfast or lunch. A full complement of guests can expect gourmet meals to grace the table prepared up by the amazing in-house chef.
The bedrooms are spread throughout the villa on both levels with ceiling fans and air conditioning in every room. Two master suites, one on each floor, both have en-suites, walk-in closets and French doors leading to a private terrace. The other bedrooms come with dressing rooms and most have French doors opening onto a patio, the garden or pool deck. The guest wing known as ‘The Cottage’ to the left of the foyer, has its own access to the pool area and to the main gate. The 2 bedrooms here share an interconnected bathroom - just the place for a family with small children.
To the left, just off the living room over mini wooden bridges, is an inviting pool with deck and a water volleyball and badminton court (at the deep end) as well as floating loungers. Whimsical tropical paintings of flora and fauna on the exterior walls can be appreciated while drifting on an inflatable chair in the pool. A cozy TV room for 8 (cable and DVD), equipped study, 2 iPod docks and wireless internet throughout the house offer options for play and remaining connected.
Prices include all local property fees (2.5%) and taxes (10% SEL).

Property owners tend to accept bookings over the Christmas and New Year period on stricter terms than at other times of year. In general, bookings are subject to a 14 night minimum stay but owners may require a 3 week booking in some cases and will often need to approve dates to fit with their own travel plans or those of other guests. A higher deposit of 50% of the total rental price is payable for such bookings and the balance becomes due earlier at 90 days before arrival.
All prices quoted above have been calculated based on information provided by the owners but are subject to confirmation during December and January as occasionally owners may insist on the higher Christmas rate being applied either side of the main Christmas period. We suggest you contact us for a firm price quotation at this time of year, before making your booking.

I found Hammerton Barbados online and was impressed with their website. I was even more impressed to discover that they were easy to contact and talk to in person. Lisa is a very helpful, friendly and approachable lady who has a great knowledge of and interest in all of the properties they handle. She replies to all queries promptly and efficiently. It has been a joy to deal with Hammerton Barbados.Shirley V
